Provincial Agriculture Cooperative Network Meetings

FNN, in cooperation with the Cambodian Partnership for the Development of Human Resource in Rural Areas Association (CamboDHRRA) and support from the Mekong RegionLand Governance (MRLG) project, organized three provincial Agriculture Cooperative network meetings in Banteay Meanchey, Pursat, and Kampong Cham provinces. The meetings gave opportunities to AC executives to share and learned the AC management practices including AC institutional development, business management, lesson learned, and AC network improvement.  The 3 one-day meetings were coordinated and led by Mr. Seu Rany, the President of the Board of Directors and Ms. Khoun Sey, Vice President of the Board of Directors of FNN from 27 – to 29 May 2025. There were 73 AC committee members of which 27 are women, one representative from each of CamboDHRRA (Mr. Him Noeurn) and MRLG (Mr. Pheap Sophea) took part in the meetings. 

For the improvement of the provincial AC network, the meetings facilitated AC executives who are in the network elect their AC network presidents and vice presidents. As a result, the president and vice presidents of each of three AC networks were elected as follows:

Banteay Meanchey Province:

1. Ms. Leang Chenda is the president of the provincial network.
2. Ms. Oun Sopheak is the vice president of the provincial network.

Pursat Province

1. Mr. Hun Seng is the president of the provincial network.
2. Mr. Nheuk Sophal is the vice president of the provincial network.

Kampong Cham Province:

1. Ms. Hun Sokheang is the president of the provincial network.
2. Mr. Cheing Thong is the vice president of the provincial network.
