Contract farming Signing Ceremony Between ACs and Amru Rice Company

FNN, in cooperation with Amru Rice Company/CACC and Provincial Department of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fishery (PDAFF), facilitated 9 Agriculture Cooperatives (ACs) with 700 families of which 273 are women to cultivate orgic paddy rice for export (including four ACs in Takeo, three in Kg. Chhnang, one in Kg. Spue, and another one in Kampot province). In this cooperation, FNN and Amru Rice Company organized contract farming signing ceremony on purchase and sale of rice seed and Phka Rumdoul organic rice on 28th June 2023 at PDAFF, Kampong Chhnang province and on 03rd July 2023 at PDoC in Takeo province. As a result, 9 ACs signed contract farming with Amru Rice company/CACC with 3,909 Metric ton of Phka Rumdoul organic rice in total. We hope that this will give big contribution to the rural poverty reduction in Cambodia.
