Joint Visit to RECOVER project sites in Kampong Chhnang and Battambang province

FNN is implementing a Rural Employment for COVID-19 Economic Recovery (RECOVER) project. The project lasts 3 years from 01 Jan 2021 to Dec 2023. It covers five provinces around Tone Lesap Lack (Kampong Chhnang, Pursat, Battambang, Siem Reap, and Kampong Thom province). The project objective is to contribute to inclusive economic recovery in the Tonle Sap region by improving food security, income and employment opportunities for fishing and farming communities and returnee labour migrants. The project formed two technical working groups (Horticulture Technical Working Group and Poultry Technical Working Group). From June 13 to 15, 2022. The Horticulture Working Group (HTWG) which is composed of four partners. They are Farmer and Nature Net Association (FNN), Development and Partnership in Action (DPA), Dan Church Aid (DCA), and Volunteer Service Oversea (VSO). The HTWG conducted monitoring visit to the RECOVER project sites in Kampong Chhnang and Battambang provinces. The objectives of the visit are sharing knowledge and experiences among partners and drawing up the applicable interventions to improve horticulture production of the farmers as well as partners’ management practices.
